How Booking Trolley collects, uses, and shares information when you use our travel metasearch Service.

Booking Trolley INC · Last updated 2026

1. Who we are

Booking Trolley INC ("Booking Trolley", "we", "us") operates a travel metasearch and comparison Service. Our registered address is 8 THE GREEN STE B, Dover, DE 19901, USA.

For privacy enquiries contact support@bookingtrolley.com.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our websites and related services. It does not govern how Travel Providers (airlines, online travel agencies, and other booking partners) handle your data after you leave our Service to view or complete a booking. Those companies process information under their own privacy notices.

2. Information we collect

Search and preference data — criteria you enter to run a comparison (such as airports or cities, dates, number of travellers, cabin preference, and similar filters), plus recent search context we store to improve usability.

Technical and usage data — IP address, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic logs collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

Communications — information you send when you contact us (for example email address and message content).

Partner attribution data — referral or click identifiers needed to attribute a visit or booking to our Service when you click through to a Travel Provider.

We do not typically collect payment card details, passport numbers, or full traveller identity documents on our Service, because bookings and payments are completed with Travel Providers — not with us. If a future feature asks for additional data, we will explain that collection at the point of use.

3. How we use information

To operate the Service: run searches, display comparison results, remember preferences, and redirect you to relevant Travel Providers.

To measure and improve performance, reliability, security, and user experience.

To detect fraud, abuse, and technical issues, and to enforce our Terms.

To respond to your enquiries and provide support related to our Service (not Travel Provider bookings).

To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

With your consent where required, for analytics, advertising measurement, or marketing communications.

4. Legal bases (where applicable)

Where laws such as the GDPR or UK GDPR apply, we process personal data on one or more of these bases: performance of a contract or steps at your request before a contract (providing the Service you asked for); legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service, understanding aggregated usage, measuring referrals) balanced against your rights; consent (where we rely on it for non-essential cookies or marketing); and legal obligation.

5. Sharing of information

Travel Providers — when you click an offer or otherwise interact with a partner listing, we may share search parameters and referral identifiers so the partner can show the relevant offer and attribute the referral. If you continue on their site, data you submit there is controlled by that Travel Provider.

Service providers — hosting, content delivery, analytics, security, email, and similar vendors process data on our instructions to help us run the Service.

Corporate and legal — we may share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, or when required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of Booking Trolley, our users, or others.

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone consumer data product. We may receive compensation from Travel Providers related to referrals as described in our Terms; that is part of how metasearch services are funded.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. Where required by law, we request consent before placing non-essential cookies.

7. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Aggregated or de-identified data that can no longer reasonably identify you may be kept for analytics and product improvement.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; and to data portability.

To exercise these rights, email support@bookingtrolley.com. We may need to verify your request. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

For data held by a Travel Provider about your booking, contact that Travel Provider directly — we cannot access or change booking records we do not control.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms.

10. Security

We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 16 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page. The “last updated” date or year shown on the page reflects the current version.
