British Airways is the United Kingdom’s national airline and, based on passengers and destinations served, the largest full-service airline in Britain. Two subsidiary airlines of British Airways are BA CityFlyer ,and BA EuroFly, also owned by the same airline. It is second in passenger traffic (behind easyJet), but it is the largest airline for long-haul flights from the UK.
The airline's base is London Heathrow Airport (LHR), and it flies to more than 200 destinations around the world. Although the airline is primarily focused on intercontinental flights it also operates a strong domestic route network within the UK and has an extensive route network in Europe.

One item of carry-on baggage and one small personal item is free for passengers.
The weight of the free carry-on bag must not exceed 23 kg or measure 56 cm x 45cm x 25cm (22"x177"x9.8") in dimensions.
Personal items that are free cannot exceed 23kg in weight and 40 cm x 15, 30 cm (15.7"x5.9"x11.8") in dimension.

British Airways allows passengers to check in online for their flight via the online check-in page. Check-in online opens 24 hours prior to the flight departure time.
Passengers who are unable or unwilling to check in online can still check-in at an airport. You can do this by going to the airport check-in desk with your travel documents. The airport you are departing from may have different closing times.

British Airways Economy Class varies depending on whether they are short-haul flights or long-haul.
Euro Traveller Economy Class is available for flights within Europe or the UK. You will find a comfortable cabin with leather seating, adjustable headrests, and LED mood lighting. Euro Traveller can be divided into three different fare structures:
Basic —This includes an allocated seat as well as hand baggage. You can either add a bag to your flight or select a seat.
Plus — The Plus fare gives passengers the opportunity to select their seat free of charge 48 hours prior to departure and request flight changes for free on departure day. It also allows for a larger checked baggage allowance.
Plus Flex — The Plus Flex fare allows for flexibility in ticket changes and allows passengers the freedom to select where they want to sit up to an hour prior to departure.
World Traveller Economy Class is available for long-haul flights. It is a large-bodied plane that offers a spacious and comfortable cabin with leather recliner seats, complimentary meals, drinks, and a personal entertainment system for all fares.
World Traveller can be divided into two fares:
Basic — Includes carry-on baggage and pre-allocated seats. This is ideal for light travel without any frills.
Standard —Includes checked baggage and seat selection. It allows passengers to board earlier that the Basic fare.
British Airways seats are laid out in a 3-x-3 x 3 arrangement on long-haul flights, and a 3-x3 x 3 configuration for short-haul. The seats offer between 29 and 31 inches of pitch, and 17 inches of width.
British Airways Premium Economy Service, also known as World Traveller Plus, is available only on medium-haul and longer-haul flights.
Passengers will be provided with a cushion and a quilt. They can also enjoy in-flight entertainment that includes a variety of films and movies. Premium Economy passengers can enjoy the same delicious menu as Economy Class, but with alcoholic cocktails or mocktails. Every passenger receives an amenity kit made from recycled plastic bottles. Kits include a pen, eye-shade, socks and a toothbrush. Lip balm from Scaramouche & Fandango is also included.
This service allows passengers to recline more comfortably on their seats and provides personal power sockets in the seat. It also offers a larger entertainment screen in the cockpit.
British Airways Premium Economy seats are 18.5 inches wide and can recline up to a 38 inch pitch.
British Airways Business Class provides passengers with a wide range of services that ensure they have an enjoyable flight. Depending on the flight, there are different facilities available onboard. Long-haul "Club World" flight passengers will get the best sleep possible onboard their BA flights. To help passengers relax and enjoy their European flights, they will be able to take advantage of more comfort aboard "Club Europe" BA flights.
BA's Club World customers can enjoy three-course meals that suit all tastes and a selection of wines from the Old and New World. Every passenger has a 10.4in flat screen, so there's no need to be bored while onboard. Business Club Europe members will receive delicious meals that are tailored to the length of their flight.
Club World British Airways seats offer privacy and comfort. The seats can be converted into a fully flatbed of 183cm (72") at night. A seat that converts to a flatbed will allow passengers flying on BA's Club World London City flights between London and New York to get the rest they require. Every seat has power outlets to allow passengers to charge electronic devices during flight. Club Europe passengers are seated in contoured leather seats that have a legroom of 76.2cm (30") and fully-movable headrests.
First Class is the most luxurious class of British Airways travel. First Class offers a luxurious, personal space with a private spa treatment and gourmet meals. Only long-haul flights are eligible for First Class.
Passengers who fly from JFK and LHR can access The Concorde Room. This is BA's most luxurious departure lounge. This lounge provides passengers with total privacy, a private cabin, and full waiter service.
Passengers can have their own private cabin and enjoy fine-dining with cutlery, crockery and glassware in flight. The airline provides soft cotton sleeping wear for passengers. They also offer Liberty of London amenity kits and luxury Aromatherapy Associates products.
British Airways First Class seats can recline to a flat bed with a quilted mattress, white cotton duvet, and pillows. Each seat has a pitch of 78 inches and a width of 22 inches. There is also a power supply so passengers can charge their electronic devices.
